## What dances I teach

Here's what each dance is and what it feels like.

### Collegiate Shag

Fast, joyful partner dance from the 1930s. Hopping rhythm, high energy, swing music. Good if you liked the energy of early jazz and want something a little more athletic.

### Balboa

Close-hold swing dance with intricate precise footwork. Danced to faster tempos. Good if you like the feeling of moving as one with your partner.

### Lindy Hop

The swing dance. Big musicality, big playfulness. If you've seen people dancing to big band music in old movies, this is it.

### Argentine Tango

Close-embrace improvised partner dance from Buenos Aires. Quiet, connected, and deeply musical. I was USA Tango Champion in 2014.

## Who this is for

-   Complete beginners. You've never danced. We start from zero.
-   Dancers working on a specific thing. Competition prep, technique review, musicality.
-   People visiting Vilnius. English-speaking visitors or tourists looking for a real local experience.

## How the lesson works

-   60 to 120 min, in person in Vilnius or online.
-   Tailored to your goals. We talk first, then dance.
-   Video review when helpful.
-   You leave with practice notes and/or video, not just a memory.

## Rates

-   Private lesson rate is 80–120 EUR/hour depending on needs and location.
